Sign up at opendentist.ai. If you already have an account, go straight to opendentist.ai/login.

Use the 'Forgot password' link on the login page, then check your junk mail. The reset email lands there more often than not.

If the email still hasn't arrived, contact support with your name and the email address on the account and we'll reset it for you.

This is almost always an out-of-date browser. OpenDentist enforces current browser standards for security, so an old browser is refused rather than shown a broken page.

Update your browser to the latest version and try again. We recommend Chrome.

Use the default templates for your first handful of appointments. Just press start and stop and work exactly as you normally would. You'll get a much better sense of how the system writes before you start customising anything.

There's also a guided walkthrough: Settings → Account → scroll down → Restart setup guide. It covers the basics and is worth doing before you touch templates.

Yes, though the site isn't optimised for phone screens. The pattern that works well in practice is to record on your phone and then review and copy the notes on the surgery PC.
